Inc. Magazine Names RNGD to 2025 Best Workplaces List
Only Louisiana-Based Construction Firm Recognized Among 514 U.S. Companies for Exceptional Workplace Culture
RNGD, a national leader in construction services and one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Southeast U.S., has been named to the Inc. 2025 Best Workplaces List. The annual recognition program honors companies that have built exceptional workplaces and vibrant cultures that support their teams and businesses.
In selecting the 514 U.S. companies for this year’s list, Inc. reviewed responses from a detailed employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace that encompassed factors such as management effectiveness, perks, professional development, and overall company culture. Company benefits were also audited to determine an overall score and ranking.
Lone Louisiana Construction Representative
As the only Louisiana-based construction firm to be included on the list—and one of only four businesses in Louisiana—the recognition validates RNGD’s commitment to supporting, training, and developing its employees.
In early 2025, RNGD opened a new interconnected headquarters campus in Jefferson Parish that serves as home base for all New Orleans-based employees across the company’s Buildings, Infrastructure, Steel, Prefabrication, and Operations teams. At the heart of the development is a 56,000-square-foot office building and training center for Renegade Academy, RNGD’s award-winning professional development program.
Investment in Professional Development
In the company’s new 25,000-square-foot training facility, new hires and experienced employees alike receive hands-on exposure to tools, technology, and trade-specific processes in a low-pressure environment. Participants learn everything from blueprint reading to equipment operation to managing risk and conflict.
At RNGD, workforce development also extends to the next generation of architects, engineers, and construction professionals. The Palmisano Foundation, the company’s charitable arm, awards up to 40 scholarships per year that enable high school students to pursue trade school training or college degrees. Some recipients join RNGD as interns, and eventually, full-time hires. In 2024, 60 RNGD employees volunteered 421 hours with nonprofit partners such as unCommon Construction, which empowers youth with the skills, network, resources, and experience to successfully join the workforce.
