The MudBugs team included Hannah LaMorte, Cooper Couvillion, Sam Finicle, Andre Johnson, Isaiah Margan, and Tyler Gelvin. The Boat Burners consisted of Lilli Johnston, Brodie Danton, Cade Krakowski, Jonathan Harwood, Connor McCoy, and Bub Willridge.

Investing in the Next Generation

The NextGen internship program reflects RNGD’s commitment to developing emerging talent in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Throughout the summer, interns gained hands-on experience across various aspects of commercial construction and infrastructure development while contributing meaningful work to active projects.

The program emphasizes collaborative problem-solving and real-world application of skills, preparing students for successful careers in the construction industry. Each team worked on substantive projects that allowed them to apply classroom knowledge to practical challenges while learning from experienced professionals.

Building Future Industry Leaders

As the interns transition back to their studies or move forward in their careers, the skills and connections developed during the summer program position them for continued success in the construction industry. The NextGen program represents one component of RNGD’s broader workforce development strategy, which includes partnerships with educational institutions and industry organizations focused on building the next generation of construction professionals.
