Palmisano Named As A 2020 ABC National Top Performer
PALMISANO NAMED TO ABC NATIONAL’S 2020 TOP-PERFORMING U.S. CONTRACTORS LIST
We are honored to announce that Palmisano was named to Associated Builders and Contractors’ 2020 Top Performers list, which recognizes ABC member contractors’ achievements in safety, quality, diversity and project excellence, ranked by work hours.
To be eligible, Palmisano demonstrated world-class safety performance by achieving Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which makes the top-performing contractors up to 827% safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to the ABC 2020 Safety Performance Report. The Top Performers were ranked by size based on the number of hours worked in 2018, as reported in their 2019 STEP applications. ABC members that earn the AQC credential certify their commitment to quality, safety, craft and management education, talent management, diversity and community relations.

In January 2020, Palmisano was recognized as an Accredited General Contractor (AQC) by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National. The AQC program provides national recognition to world-class construction firms that have documented their commitment in five areas of corporate responsibility: Quality, Safety, Talent Management, Craft and Management Education, Community Relations and Diversity.
Additionally, Palmisano was awarded STEP Platinum for outstanding Safety program, and ABC Safety Professional of the Year for Safety Manager, Dave Cortez at the 2019 ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter Excellence Awards Gala.
