Tanya Freeman

Vice President – Administration

Tanya Freeman brings more than 25 years of commercial construction experience to her role as Vice President of Administration at RNGD. Since beginning her construction career in 1996, she has held diverse roles across the industry, building a comprehensive, ground-up understanding of commercial construction operations. In her current executive role, she oversees cross-functional organizational responsibilities with a focus on people, scalable growth, learning and development, and streamlined processes through strategic insight and strong interpersonal leadership.

A strong advocate for leadership development and industry advancement, Tanya partnered with leadership to create Renegade Academy and played a key role in founding the Palmisano Foundation, where she serves on the Board of Directors. She also served on the Board of Directors (2020–2023) for the Associated Builders and Contractors New Orleans/Bayou Chapter and was recognized as Member of the Year in 2020. A graduate of Leadership St. Tammany and the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI), she continues to actively support education, mentorship, and collaboration across the construction industry.

Beyond her professional role, Tanya is deeply committed to community service, with leadership and volunteer involvement in organizations including Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, YouthForce NOLA, Habitat for Humanity, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Her leadership and service have been recognized through multiple honors, including Junior Achievement Board Member of the Year (2020), RNGD Mentor of the Year (2020), and New Orleans CityBusiness Woman of the Year Honoree (2021).
