David Huddleston

David Huddleston joined the RNGD team following his graduation from LSU’s Construction Management program, where his passion for the construction industry first developed through hands-on experience working as a laborer on various projects. This early exposure to the field gave him a deep appreciation for both the technical and operational aspects of construction, setting the foundation for his comprehensive approach to project management and operational excellence.

Throughout his career at RNGD, David has demonstrated versatility and expertise by serving in both preconstruction and operations departments, successfully overseeing projects from initial design phase through construction completion. His notable completed projects include 623 + 629 Canal St. (2019), where he progressed from assistant estimator to project manager; Second Line Stages (2022), serving as Lead Estimator/Design Manager before transitioning to project manager; and Propel Building A (2023) as project manager. His experience extends to leading large-scale, complex preconstruction efforts, including serving as Lead Estimator on projects valued at $250 million and managing estimates for facilities exceeding one million square feet.

As Operations Leader, David focuses on ensuring team profitability and operational excellence through strategic project execution and financial performance management. He champions structured workflows that foster operational excellence while maintaining team morale, overseeing projects through both preconstruction and construction phases with an emphasis on seamless execution and quality control. His dedication to efficient processes, resource allocation, and financial stewardship enables agility and decentralized decision-making, ultimately enhancing client satisfaction and supporting business development through RNGD’s strong track record of successful project delivery.
