As an Infrastructure Estimator, Aaron plays a crucial role in determining the most competitive and effective bids for heavy civil and transportation projects. From monitoring public markets for bidding opportunities to developing bid files and evaluating historical data, Aaron ensures that RNGD delivers the best value product for clients while staying ahead of the competition. His extensive knowledge of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors allows him to create thorough and efficient estimates, including conceptual schedules and innovative ideas to accelerate project timelines.

With 19 years of experience in the heavy civil and transportation sectors, Aaron’s career began as a laborer/operator before advancing to roles such as materials testing technician, field engineer, and project manager. His experience as an estimator spans 7 years, giving him a well-rounded perspective on every aspect of a project. Aaron has worked on a variety of projects, including utilities, paving, earthwork, drainage systems, and even bridges.

Aaron excels at reviewing and interpreting data to ensure that RNGD remains competitive in public markets. He thrives on mentoring younger estimators, sharing his wealth of knowledge and helping them develop their own expertise. Aaron’s favorite part of his job is passing on his experience, shaping the next generation of estimators to continue building success.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, boating, and camping, while also dedicating time to health and fitness by running races from 10Ks to marathons. A music enthusiast, Aaron plays guitar and attends concerts, and he cherishes time spent with his family.
