About the Project
When Ochsner Health System needed to upgrade their 180-bed general medical and surgical acute care facility on the Westbank, they knew collaborating with RNGD in a Design Assist delivery would get them the quality they wanted at the speed their patients needed. As a functioning hospital, Ochsner required all services and departments to remain operational during construction to limit disruption for inpatient care. And RNGD, with our extensive hotel renovation experience, knows how to be invisible.
Completed in 2017, the 18,514-SF renovation included a one-story addition and canopy at the existing operating Emergency Department as well as a two-story addition for the Endoscopy Department. In collaboration with Rozas Ward Architects, RNGD integrated seamlessly into Ochsner’s team to expertly and precisely complete each stage of the project.
