RNGD Earns Two Honors at 2026 Top Workplaces Awards

The Renegade Journal earns Gold in Internal Marketing at the 2026 Zweig Group Marketing Excellence Awards

RNGD has once again been named among the best places to work in New Orleans, earning the #2 spot in the midsize business category at The Times-Picayune/NOLA.com’s 2026 Top Workplaces awards — and taking home a special Doers Award, recognizing companies where “people do things efficiently and well.”

This continues our streak of recognition from the program, building on wins in previous years and reaffirming that our culture isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something our own people vouch for.

What Sets Us Apart

The Top Workplaces awards are based entirely on anonymous employee surveys conducted by Energage, a Philadelphia-based research firm that has partnered with the Times-Picayune for 12 years running. This year’s program surveyed more than 41,000 employees across the Greater New Orleans area, asking whether they feel valued, respected, and aligned with their employer’s mission.

On the Doers Award:

Amy Caboni, Employee Experience Manager, put it well when describing what drives our team’s execution:

“This band of Renegades truly continues to push the industry forward – and we all recognize that it takes the power of TEAM to make that happen. Our people are our strongest asset and give RNGD the biggest edge in the industry. If you want to make something happen here, you can. That culture and the people are what drive us to success and allow us to constantly challenge the status quo.”

Her words ring just as true this year — the Doers Award is a direct reflection of that mindset in action.

Recognition Among Elite Company

The awards ceremony took place Wednesday, July 1, at the Higgins Hotel in downtown New Orleans, with nearly 300 attendees gathered to celebrate the winning organizations. RNGD competed in the midsize category — companies with 125 to 299 employees — finishing behind Stoa Group and ahead of MSB Consulting Engineers.

Energage’s Bob Helbig addressed the crowd, noting that the program exists to celebrate work done well, and that every workplace has a culture — the great ones are simply purposeful about it.

A Testament to Our People-First Culture

Two honors in one year is no small feat, and both point to the same thing: our people show up, get it done, and do it in a way that makes RNGD a place worth working. The Doers Award in particular reflects the follow-through and execution our Renegades bring to every project, every day.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this recognition. Here’s to building an even stronger workplace — and delivering even better results — in the year ahead.
