Public Works & Utilities
Infrastructure That Keeps Communities Moving.
Public works and utility construction demands reliable execution, precise coordination, and the ability to maintain essential services while infrastructure is built or improved. RNGD delivers water, wastewater, drainage, underground utilities, pump stations, and public infrastructure through self-performed construction and collaborative delivery methods.
Our teams bring civil engineering coordination, deep foundations, structural concrete, mechanical and electrical expertise, and construction management together around one execution strategy. By engaging early through Design-Build, CMAR, and other collaborative approaches, we evaluate constructability, sequencing, cost, and operational requirements before work begins.
From complex physical plants to critical underground infrastructure, RNGD delivers the systems communities rely on with greater control over quality, safety, schedule, and long-term performance.

Self-Performed Critical Infrastructure
RNGD directly executes foundations, structural concrete, underground utilities, and sitework, giving public owners greater control over schedule-sensitive scopes, quality, and field production.
Engineering Connected to Construction
Early collaboration between engineering and field teams improves constructability, evaluates alternative methods, and aligns infrastructure design with construction sequencing and operational needs.
Complex Systems Coordination
Civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls work is coordinated as one construction strategy, reducing interfaces between critical systems in pump stations, treatment facilities, and other physical plants.
Built Around Public Operations
Construction planning considers existing utilities, service continuity, access, regulatory requirements, and community impacts to minimize disruption while maintaining safe, productive worksites.
Built for Essential Infrastructure.
From underground utilities to complex treatment facilities, RNGD brings civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction capabilities together as one coordinated team. Our self-perform resources and early planning approach help public owners manage complex systems and maintain progress across critical workstreams.
Water Infrastructure
Underground water distribution, utility connections, and supporting civil systems are coordinated with existing infrastructure to improve installation efficiency and service reliability.
Wastewater Treatment Facilities
Civil, structural, process piping, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems are coordinated to support complex treatment infrastructure and operational requirements.
Pump Stations & Flood Control
Deep foundations, structural concrete, drainage systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical controls are aligned around one construction strategy for critical water management infrastructure.
Stormwater & Drainage
Self-performed excavation, underground drainage, stormwater management, and site improvements address challenging conditions while supporting long-term infrastructure performance.
Roadways & Public Infrastructure
Coordinated earthwork, utilities, drainage, and site improvements support public access, transportation infrastructure, and community development.
Utility Rehabilitation & Improvements
Construction planning accounts for existing systems, restricted access, service continuity, and phased execution to improve infrastructure while minimizing disruption.

Solutions Below the Surface.
At the Sydney & Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art, unexpected soil conditions required RNGD to rethink the project’s site and water management strategy.
The team removed approximately 50,000 cubic yards of unsuitable material and replaced it with engineered fill while constructing drainage improvements, bioswales, and an automatic water-control weir.
Through coordinated field execution, specialized equipment, and adaptable sequencing, RNGD delivered infrastructure designed to manage water while supporting the surrounding public landscape.
